Doesn't time fly

Friday - I went to the lock up with Daddy for 45mins today and guess what I stayed

awake and had a good look around - WOW it's great. I still get presents everyday in

the post - It's great being a baby.

Thursday - I am 2 weeks old today and I got weighed by the health visitor and I put on

loads of weight I am now 6lb 11oz, cor that's 5oz in a week. I went to work with

Daddy again but slept through it again, this is getting silly I want to see where Daddy

works!!! Me and Mummy had a sleep from 4 - 7pm whilst Daddy did some work and

made Mummy dinner. I went to sleep at 2am again but I stayed in bed until 11am with

only 1 feed at 7am, so I think Mummy is a bit happier with me :-)

Wednesday - Cried and cried and cried again went to sleep at 2am again!!

Tuesday - Guess what cried loads again and didn't go to sleep until 2am. Mummy is

getting fed up with me crying and eating all the time. But the midwife said it's normal

and I am having a growth spurt so I need more food. It's Mummy's fault she isn't giving

me enough milk. I'm STARVING :-)

Monday - I didn't got to sleep until 3am last night and cried loads again! I went to

Daddies lock up again and I still haven't seen it as I slept through the whole afternoon,

probably tired myself out last night screaming.

Sunday - Today is Mummy's birthday but she didn't seem very happy about it, I cried

all day and got lots of cuddles from Nanny Merritt. But I think I upset Mummy.

Wednesday to Friday - Loads happened

Yesterday mummy said I was an angel as I let her stay in bed

for 11 hours and she only had to feed me twice, so guess what last night I was an

angel for her again and I slept from 9.30pm - 9am only waking up for food a couple of

times. Mummy and daddy got to have a take away for dinner and sit together and

watch a film (whatever all that means) I think I made them very happy.

On Thursday I was one week old. I met Aunty Keeley for the first time (she was all

pink) Paul said that was supposed to be a sun tan. But I thought she looked lovely. I

got lots of cuddles then we went on a big car journey to take Aunty Keeley home,

guess what I did - yep I slept all the way there and back.

Nanny and Granddad Baker sent me a happy birthday email with a cake & candles on

it - well cooool my first email and birthday :-)

On Wednesday the midwife came to visit and she weighed me I've lost 3oz but that is

really good (without dieting either!! Mummy's jealous). So I'm even littler now, lucky

Nanny & Granddad Baker bought me some tiny baby clothes. Then she was mean

and made my foot bleed, she said it was for my own good, but I don't think so!!

Meeting my Great Granddad & Daddies lock-up

Yesterday when I was 5 days old I met my Great Granddad Baker and went

to work with Daddy. I don't know much about my trip to daddies lock up though as I

slept through the whole trip. Maybe next time I'll be awake and can help. Meeting

Great Grandad Baker was cool, he's very old and has big hands and a furry face. He

cuddled me for ages, Nanny Baker was getting very jealous.

My adventures from birth to 4 days old

I've been on a bumpy car ride coming home from hospital in my car

seat. I liked that very much and showed Mummy & Daddy just how much I liked it

by going to sleep! I've also had my first bath time in the big grown up bath. It was

HUGE! I have a Winnie the Pooh mitten to wash me with and a rubber ducky who tells

Mummy & Daddy if the water is nice and right for my little bum! I've also

ridden on a great big furry black animal called BoBo. He meows, so I think he is what

you call a Pussy Cat! He likes me because he licked my hair gently and he purrs at

me! The bestest bit so far though is that I watched my very first Manchester United

game and it was versus some smelly team called Manchester City!?! I've never

heard of them and we beat them 1-0. Then, the next day my favourite team United

became Champions of the Premier League (I think that's what Daddy called it)

and made a grumpy looking foreign man cry. It was very funny and I liked it lots! Daddy

says that in a few weeks we will have a Double? I'm not sure what that is but

Daddy is very excited about it and so is Mummy!
